Stack cost questions

Where do the competitor figures come from?

Each option is labelled with the vendor's published list price as at August 2026, AUD excluding GST, taken from their own public pricing page. Your negotiated price may differ.

Why is admin time shown as its own line?

Because we are not going to tell you what percentage of it disappears. We show the cost of the hours so you can decide for yourself how much of that work goes away when the capture and the pay run share one system.

Does this include setup fees?

No, on either side. Project Payroll setup is charged separately at the rates on the pricing page, and most vendors charge implementation too.

What if the result says we are already paying less?

Then it says so. On licence cost alone a cheap capture app plus a cheap payroll engine can list under our rate. The question that matters then is what the second system and the reconciliation between them costs you in time and in pay errors.

Why is the time clock option a banded price rather than per employee?

Because that vendor publishes a fixed monthly price per headcount band rather than a per employee rate, so the calculator looks up the band your headcount falls in.
